Berklee / Christian Science Center plan shows new development
In December, the Berklee School of Music presented its Institutional Master Plan to the Christian Science Center CAC and Berklee IMP Task Force.
That’s a long way of saying that Berklee recently showed its future development plans at a meeting of local residents and business owners.

A closing has been recorded at the Suffolk County Registry of Deeds on a unit in the new 45 Province condo project at 45 Province Street, in the Downtown Crossing (aka, Ladder District) neighborhood of Boston. It is the first closing to take place in the building since September 3, 2009.
The buyers purchased a 685+/- square foot, one-bedroom, one-bathroom unit on the twelfth floor, paying $432,000, or $630.65 per square foot.

A developer has proposed two hotels for an empty lot near the border of the South End / Chinatown neighborhoods of Boston.
100 new units of housing on tap for Boston Medical Center & South End
The Boston Redevelopment Authority has given it approval to the Boston University Medical Center to build a 100-unit apartment building on Albany Street in the South End neighborhood of boston. The units are expected to be filled by students attending the BU School of Medicine and School of Medical Sciences.

Prices have been adjusted on many of the remaining homes for sale in the Macallen Building, located in the South Boston neighborhood of Boston. Prices are now in the $499,000 – $1,139,000 and up ranges.
