Case-Shiller housing index shows flat Greater Boston condo real estate market

The latest S&P / Case-Shiller housing price indices are out.

The latest data covers January 2013. Compared to a month earlier, Greater Boston condominium prices are estimated to be flat. Since January 2000, area condo prices have risen ~63.39%, down by 0.10 from December 2012 and up from 152.97 in January 2012.

Prices reached their most-millennium height in October 2005 when they were up an estimated 83.64% since January 2000. Since October 2005, prices were at their lowest in March 2009 and February 2012.
