The Warren Group, publisher of Banker & Tradesman, has released its February 2012 single-family and condominium sales report for all cities and towns in Massachusetts. Overall, the real estate market is showing a marked improvement over previous years, with prices at levels not seen in years (lower) and sales volume going up.

The latest S&P Case-Shiller real estate indices are out.
For the Greater Boston metropolitan area, local condominium prices are flat, compared to last month, but down slightly from last year and the year before.

Two closings were recently recorded in the luxury Clarendon condominium project, located in the Back Bay neighborhood of Boston.
The Clarendon is now 80% sold out, with remaining units available on floors 15-33.

Two closings at the W Boston Residences and Hotel were recently recorded at the Suffolk County Registry of Deeds. Ten condos remaining in the W Boston are listed for sale in our local MLS with prices ranging from $875,000 to $3.2 million.
