Downtown Boston condo sales data for the five years 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009.

As you can see, sales volume in 2009 was down approximately 25 percent from its 2007 high. For five years, days on market has stayed constant at under four months. Average price is down from its 2008 (?!) high but above 2007, 2006, and 2005. Median price has stayed pretty constant, five years running!
This report includes sales and inventory information for condominiums located in the following downtown Boston neighborhoods: Charlestown, North End, Waterfront, Seaport District, South End, Chinatown, Theater District, Financial District, Leather District, The Fenway, Back Bay, Beacon Hill, West End, and Midtown.
Data collected from third-party sources by the Multiple Listing Service Property Information Network, Inc. for the periods 01/01 – 12/31 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009.
Most developer-direct sales are not included in the above data.
